What is the connection between celiac disease and the immune system? - connection between celiac disease and interstitial cystitis
I was with CD diagnosed at a very early age (9 months, I am now 24) and treated at this age. He had developed normally, without having physical defects that are associated with the disease, but my immune system has always been variable set, and I grew up with a predisposition for diseases of the respiratory and gastro logical small (I have asthma, pneumonia, and had almost every year as a child). I wonder where is the link between the disease and the immunity of the body and affect mainly CDs to continue the body's immunity, even if the disease in its acute form, controlled with medication, d was the first and the diet for so many years?

The Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease, that does not mean that the right of celiac patients have an increased incidence of problems with immunity, and more cases of secondary autoimmune disease have.
How amazing is diagnosed early, there are mainly 24 years! Wow! Normally it takes years and years to get diagnosed! If celiac disease is a strict diet without gluten sound (no cheating!) The chances of consistently healthy and normal, are typical of others. The drugs can not control, celiac disease, any medication to help him, only power.
Good luck!
Celiac disease, as you know, is an autoimmune problem. The immune system builds antibodies against itself and attacks the small intestine that causes injury. You do not have the antibodies is my guess.
